Inclusion

The school aims to promote the philosophy of "every child matters", whereby each pupil will be given the opportunity to stay healthy, enjoy and achieve, keep safe, contribute to the community and to develop social and economic well being.

We aim to be a fully inclusive school and to involve representative members of our school community in decision making and policy development in our "Learning Community Partnership".

At Beaumont we believe in a strong partnership between staff, Governors, parents and pupils. We aim to work co-operatively to make learning a positive experience for everyone.

Our aim is to provide the best possible learning experiences for all children and, where necessary, giving additional support to individuals or groups of pupils to meet their needs. Pupils have equal access to the taught curriculum and school enrichment activities, appropriate to their age and ability.

Pupils are encouraged to review their learning experiences, evaluate their progress and take an active part in planning their learning.
