Parenting Programmes

Parenting and carers in Croydon can access a range of group-based parenting programmes delivered by the Support and Intervention team.

Parents/carers can choose between virtual and in person groups, based on their availability and personal preference.

The support and interventions team currently run the following group programmes:

Mellow Mums – an attachment-based, psychoeducational group aimed at mothers of children aged 0-3, who may be struggling with personal challenges, including trauma and mental health.

Triple P and Triple P Teen – a strength-based parenting group designed to prevent, as well as address, behavioural and emotional problems in children and young people.

Stepping Stones – a strength-based parenting programme aimed at parents or carers who have a child aged 0-12 with a disability or special educational need.

Family Transitions – a group programme supporting parents or carers who are experiencing personal distress from separation or divorce, which is impacting on or complicating their parenting.
