Y1 visit RHS Gardens Wisley
Friday 21st October 2022
On Friday 21st October Year One went on our very first school trip! We visited RHS Gardens Wisley. We enjoyed our elevated views from the coach, which we got to and from Wisley. We enjoyed learning more about deciduous and evergreen trees. We went on a leaf hunt and collected lots of different varieties of leaves. We planted acorns, which will grow into big oak trees if we take good care of them! We saw many beautiful trees and plants at Wisley. We were even able to see one of the world’s largest type of tree, the Coastal Redwood. The one we saw was only a baby and so it hadn’t grown to it’s full height; Despite this, it was still the tallest tree in the gardens! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are looking forward to our next adventure…
