Year 4 Trip to Museum of London

On Friday the 7th of October, an excited Year 4, travelled up to London to for their first visit of the Year. For some of the children, this was their first journey into the capitol since lockdown and we were all carried along on a wave of enthusiasm.

We travelled to Farringdon, by train, and then we walked to the museum taking in the Victorian architecture including the splendid sight of Smithfield Market.

After a brief pitstop for refreshment we visited the wonderful ‘People’s City Gallery’ and ‘Expanding City Gallery’ to enhance and improve our knowledge of Victorian England and as taster for our upcoming ‘Thames’ and ‘Trading’ topics. Year 4 were captivated by what they saw and the adults were impressed by their focus on the exhibits and their behaviour over the course of the day.

I would like to thank all the adults involved in the organisation and running of this trip.

Mr Rosenthal
