A new activity ‘work out’ centre has been installed on the field to encourage children to exercise and have fun. They are very keen to try it out following a training programme.

We were delighted to receive a letter from the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP congratulating staff and pupils on the very high level of progress made by pupils at Beaumont in reading, writing and mathematics. In fact, the progress made by pupils at Beaumont places the school amongst the top 2% of schools in England.
Sport Relief fundraising where pupils undertook activities (50 star jumps/ hops/ push ups/ step ups/ ball throws/catches) & ran in teams to clock up 50 miles celebrating 50 years of the school this year. Elite runners added 8 miles & teachers/parents 7.35 miles. A total of 50.85 miles! Great effort – total raised £1150!

Parents are made to feel very welcome at all times; they play a vital role in supporting children’s learning alongside the Class Teacher. If you have any concerns about your child, whether it be homework, behaviour or progress related, please discuss this with the Class Teacher.
Clubs run at lunchtime and after school and are designed to cover a wide range of interests. Healthy lifestyles are encouraged with many sporting clubs from rugby, football, cricket, dance, gymnastics and tennis to elite running, cross country and multiskills. Philosophy for children is taught to all year groups. Year 6 pupils enjoy Latin classes. Spanish is taught as part of the National Curriculum in Years 3-6; taster language sessions are on offer throughout the school in languages such as French, German, Russian, Danish, Japanese and Finnish. Specialist PE coaches are in attendance daily.
