Reception visit Gatton Park

It was a wonderful trip - the classroom was very cool, most of the time we were in the shade of beautiful big trees, and there was a lovely strong breeze.

First they caught bugs using big sweeping nets,
then they used little pipe cleaner bees to look for pollen in flowers,
they looked for pond creatures in trays of pond water,
they made pond water creature hats,
they made paper tadpoles,
and they heard two stories.

They had a picnic lunch under stunning big trees with a wonderful view.
