Friday 20 October 2023 Book Vending Machine This week saw the arrival of our book vending machine. We were able to purchase this due to a generous donation from the Sharma family, combined with Friends of Beaumont. Each week, one child in every class will be given a golden token relating to some aspect of reading. They will then select a book from the machine, insert their token and keep the book as a reward for their work. We look forward to sharing more photos through Class Dojo.

Wednesday 18 October 2023 Magical Toy Museum Workshop The Year One children really enjoyed the Magical Toy Museum Workshop, delivered by the Freshwater Theatre Company earlier today. They had the opportunity to see a range of: old and modern bears, dolls of all kinds and moving toys. They danced in the style of different dolls and even had time to squeeze in a toy invention of their very own!

Friday 13 October 2023 TFL visit to Year Six TFL came to speak with Year six about travelling in and around London, the importance of keeping safe, having a zip card and knowing how to navigate trains, trams and buses.

Friday 22 September 2023 Outdoor Reading Trolley Outdoor Reading Trolley These photos are of our outdoor reading trolley which was a gift from Friends of Beaumont. The children are relishing the opportunity to read and share books outside at lunchtime. Thank you to Friends of Beaumont for this generous gift.

Monday 19 June 2023 PGL Weekend for Year Six Year Six visited Marchant’s Hill at PGL over the weekend for their end of year trip. The children had a wonderful time doing so many activities. There were three day groups and each group over the course of the weekend took part in eight activities. These were: archery, zip wire, abseiling, climbing, fencing, sensory trail, giant swing and raft building. Enjoy looking at some of the photos below.

Thursday 18 May 2023 Y4 - Tag Rugby On Tuesday 16th May, supported by The Croydon Sports Partnership and the wonderful weather, Year 4 had a fantastic morning, in the sun, playing Rugby.

Thursday 27 April 2023 Y3 visit the Whitgift Almshouses On Wednesday 26th April, Year 3 went to a trip to Croydon to explore the Whitgift Almshouses. This is linked to our History topic ‘Who was John Whitgift and what legacy did he leave in Croydon’ We have been learning all about the life of John Whitgift and the charity he founded- The Whitgift Foundation.

Friday 31 March 2023 Y4 visit the Museum of Docklands in London On Friday the 24th of March, Year 4 enjoyed a fascinating and fun-packed day at The Museum of Docklands.

Friday 24 March 2023 Croydon Borough Primary Schools Finals 2023. Lucas in Y6 qualified for both the 25m Breaststroke and 25m Butterfly finals at Trinity School pool. He won the breaststroke with a wonderful time and came second in the butterfly race. What a fantastic achievement!
